I Love You, President Hinkley!

Tonight, at about 7:00 President Hinkley, the prophet of the LDS Church, passed away.  He was 97 and died of old age.  I grew up knowing President Hinkley as my prophet and loved him a lot.  I know, though, that it was his time to go and he is in a better place now.  Now Thomas S. Monson will be the new prophet and I'm sure that I will love him just as much.  I love you, President Hinkley!

A Fun Snow Day and Some Random Comments

Last night we got a TON of snow!  I woke up to 1.5 feet of snow easy!  Since we were out of school due to Martin Luther King Day my family went bowling and to Pei Wei.  It was really fun and delicious.  After bowling and lunch I went to my friend, Ruby's, house.  We watched Hairspray, ate dinner (and, yes Dad, I ate my vegetables) and watched Hairspray's special features, such as how they made John Travolta into Edna!  It was really cool!  I had fun today!  Thanks Ruby, Mom, and Dad!

I changed my background and heading!  I'm sure that you noticed.  I hope you like it!

Happy Birthday, Nicholas!

Yesterday was Nicholas' birthday!  He turned 3 years old!  Because he loves trains so much we rode on a train that let us off at Soldier Hollow to go tubing.  It was a lot of fun!

Here is Nick on the train we rode on.
If you asked him how old he was he wouldn't say
3 he'd show you with his fingers!

When we got home from tubing and the train ride there was another present on the porch!  It was from our next door neighbor Lexie, who is very close with Nick!  It was awesome that she'd remember his birthday and bring him a present!  He was very excited to see glow-sticks, candy, stickers, and a new teddy bear (his old one got lost at Yellowstone).

Happy Birthday, Nicholas!

Shout Outs

Here are a few shout outs.

Tess:
Hi Tess!  Thanks for stopping by and saying hi to us!  It's alway good to see you!

My Camera:
Camera, why did you have to break?  I will probably never use you again because I have to get a new one.  To fix you it costs $250!  I think I'll just get the newer version of you for $180.  We had good times!  Bye Camera! :-(

Marty:
Thanks for being so excited for me when you found out that my group won the Environmental Challenge Contest!

Chandler:
I updated just for you!

Annie, Taylor, Zoe, and Jessie:
We won the challenge! Good work guys! Thanks!

Everyone Else that is Wondering What the Environmental Challenge Is:
The Environmental Challenge (EC) is a contest that my science teacher had us enter. We had to figure out a plan and do it to help our environment. My group had a No Car Day. We were 1/16 winners in the US! We each got $500 and our teacher got $500 for our school!
